My Teaching Philosophy
I believe that learning is a holistic endeavor. I also believe that art is a language that can be a lens through which any subject can be taught. My classes and workshops are built upon these ideas, and I instruct in a variety of media in group or private sessions. I have experience teaching in universities, community colleges, to young children and adults. I also co-created a school of art in San Jose, California called the School of Visual Philosophy (check them out HERE)

Online Courses
Teaching courses online affords me the freedom to build an education that would not be available any other way. I can teach to a global community, and provide lessons and feedback at a student's own pace. Check out my online courses through SKILLSHARE and my COURSES PAGE.
Courses available through SVP Online Atelier
The School of Visual Philosophy Online Atelier is a one stop hub for all things Art Education. I co-created the School in 2013 and have made my mark through courses, studios and interactive education. All of these classes will be available through my own website in the future, but for now, check them out and learn something new!
